Bâtiments conventionnels, CFS & MCS
Those with Multiple Chemical Sensitivities (MCS), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME), Fibromyalgia and other auto-immune illnesses are disproportionately affected by the toxic chemicals used in everyday materials.
Someone with MCS will feel acutely and chronically sick from exposure to noxious flame retardants (used in 99% of all mattresses, couches and curtains), solvents (in glues, carpets, paints, stains), formaldehyde (used in plywood, particle board, cabinets, insulation), conventional cleaning products, perfumes (which are by and large chemicals) and the list goes on.
To read more about the toxins used in conventional homes see Toxic Chemicals in Building Materials.
Those of us with autoimmune illnesses can greatly improve our quality of life by removing the chemicals in our immediate environment.
